The econo shop was paid well and kept all the insurance money to repair a small right side collision. (click on photo to enlarge) 1- The edge was rough and the rear grill was scuffed 2- Inside the scoops was also rough and peeling 3- The front grill edge was flaking and peeling 4- Clear coat overspray over jambs and rubber seal. 5- Overspray over engine compartment. 6- Poor paint surface 7- Scuffed trim plate 8- The roof was not suppose to be painted. Zoom to see the small overspray spots. 9- The roof panel edge received paint overlap because of a poor tape job. 10- Even the head lamp needed repair from this econo paint job. But the owner refused to bring it back to that shop for repairs. I smoothed out the imperfections. ¾ of the car needed to be repaired I always back tape jambs for both primer and paint. The scoops after I was done. No more pin holes, flakes, or rough texture. Had to paint the hood for color matching which looked great when I was done. This was the only corner I did not paint, but you could not tell the difference any more walking around the car. I was only asked to repair the exterior paint. The Ferrari looked new unless you opened a jamb and saw the scars from the econo shop’s work. Check out facebook for Photo Albums of unique cars ASA repaired.
